Our innovative interchangeable shoulder strap system lets you pick the perfect straps for each adventure, or swap out straps for different sized hikers. Just slide the straps into the pack and clip them secure.

Our Standard Straps feature a comfortable "S" shape and they fit well on most adults. They measure about 2.75" (7 cm) wide by 17" (43 cm) long.

Like all of our straps, they features comfy 3/8" thick padding, breathable 3D mesh on the underside, and a daisy chain for attaching your favorite accessories. An adjustable position sternum strap is included.

Some common accessories include our shoulder pouches, shoulder pouches w/ zipper, or water bottle sleeves.

All new Zpacks backpacks produced in late 2024 and on are compatible if the straps have clips at the top.

Elizabeth ★★★★★

Bought a second pair so my husband and I can each use our own on the same pack. The slide-in clips are stupidly easy once you figure out the angle, and they haven't popped loose on a single hike yet.

Zoe L. ★★★★★

Swapping these between my daypack and my husband's larger pack took about ten seconds each, which is way easier than the fixed straps I've dealt with before. The clip holds tight even when the bag's loaded down.

Timothy ★★★★★

I swapped these between two packs on a three-day trip and the slide-and-clip mechanism never loosened once, even with a full load. My partner and I have very different heights, so being able to adjust the fit in seconds before each hike was a real game-changer for us.
