Took these out in a steady downpour and my hands stayed bone-dry the whole time. The fabric is surprisingly breathable too, no sweaty feeling after two hours of hiking.

I was worried about my fingers freezing while using trekking poles in sleet, but these mitts kept them warm and completely dry the whole time. The grip through the palms worked well even when the fabric got wet.
